Upon arrival in Paro, enjoy one of the world's most spectacular mountain flights, offering breathtaking views of the Himalayan range before landing in the beautiful Paro Valley.

After immigration formalities, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and begin your scenic drive to Thimphu, Bhutan's charming capital city. En route, travel through picturesque valleys and traditional settlements before reaching Chuzom, where the Paro and Thimphu rivers converge.

A highlight along the route is the historic Tachog Lhakhang, built by the legendary engineer and saint Thangtong Gyalpo, renowned for introducing iron-chain suspension bridges across the Himalayas. A walk across the beautifully restored iron bridge offers wonderful views of the surrounding landscape.

Upon arrival in Thimphu, check into your hotel and enjoy some time to relax.

Later, visit the National Memorial Chorten, one of Bhutan's most revered religious monuments. Here, locals gather daily to offer prayers, spin prayer wheels, and practice Buddhist rituals, providing visitors with a wonderful insight into Bhutan's living spiritual traditions.

After breakfast, begin your exploration of Bhutan's fascinating capital.

Visit the magnificent Buddha Dordenma, one of the largest Buddha statues in the world. Standing majestically atop a hill overlooking the valley, this golden statue offers panoramic views of Thimphu and houses thousands of smaller Buddha images within its structure.

From Buddha Point, enjoy a leisurely nature walk through pine forests and fluttering prayer flags to the historic Changangkha Lhakhang, one of Thimphu's oldest temples. The trail offers spectacular views and a peaceful atmosphere amidst Bhutan's pristine natural surroundings.

Continue to the Textile Museum, where beautifully preserved exhibits showcase Bhutan's centuries-old weaving traditions and textile artistry. The museum provides fascinating insight into one of the kingdom's most treasured cultural traditions.

Later visit the impressive Tashichho Dzong, the administrative and religious heart of Bhutan. This magnificent fortress-monastery houses the King's offices, government ministries, and the central monastic body.

Before returning to your hotel, explore Ka Ja Throm, Thimphu's vibrant market district where traditional Bhutanese culture blends seamlessly with contemporary urban life. Browse local handicrafts, fresh produce, traditional foods, and interact with local residents.

After breakfast, drive through scenic mountain landscapes back to the beautiful Paro Valley.

Upon arrival, check into your hotel before beginning your exploration of one of Bhutan's most picturesque regions.

Visit Ta Dzong, the former watchtower that now serves as Bhutan's National Museum. The museum houses an outstanding collection of religious artifacts, traditional costumes, ancient weaponry, textiles, and historical treasures that offer a fascinating glimpse into Bhutan's cultural heritage.

A short walk leads to the magnificent Rinpung Dzong, meaning "Fortress of the Heap of Jewels." This architectural masterpiece is one of Bhutan's finest examples of traditional dzong architecture and features beautifully preserved murals depicting Buddhist teachings and legends.

Later, enjoy a visit to a traditional Bhutanese farmhouse, where you can gain first-hand insight into rural Bhutanese life and customs. Experience warm local hospitality and try your hand at Bhutan's national sport—archery—using a traditional bamboo bow and arrow.

Overnight in Paro (Altitude: 2,280 m).

Today's highlight is the unforgettable excursion to Taktshang Monastery, famously known as the Tiger's Nest.

Perched dramatically on a sheer cliff face approximately 900 metres above the Paro Valley, Tiger's Nest is Bhutan's most iconic landmark and sacred pilgrimage site. According to legend, Guru Rinpoche flew to this location on the back of a tigress and meditated in a cave, introducing Buddhism to Bhutan.

The scenic round-trip hike takes approximately five hours and passes through pine forests, prayer flags, and spectacular viewpoints. The reward is an up-close encounter with one of the most extraordinary monasteries in the Himalayas.

In the afternoon, visit the restored Drukgyel Dzong, built in 1646 to commemorate Bhutan's victory over Tibetan invaders. The fortress offers fascinating historical insights and, on clear days, magnificent views of Mount Jomolhari (7,314 m), one of Bhutan's most sacred peaks.

Later, enjoy free time exploring Paro's charming town centre, local shops, and traditional markets.
