Continue to the Institute for Zorig Chusum, where students undergo rigorous training in Bhutan's thirteen traditional arts and crafts, preserving skills passed down through generations.

Visit the fascinating Textile Museum, showcasing the kingdom's renowned weaving traditions, intricate patterns, and ceremonial garments. Continue to Simply Bhutan, an interactive cultural centre offering a glimpse into traditional Bhutanese life, architecture, and customs.

Later, visit the magnificent Buddha Dordenma, an enormous gilded statue overlooking the valley. From this vantage point, enjoy sweeping views of Thimphu and the surrounding mountains.

Conclude the day at the revered National Memorial Chorten, where local residents gather daily for prayer and meditation, before visiting the impressive Tashichho Dzong, seat of Bhutan's government and monastic authority.

Today offers an opportunity to experience Bhutan's spiritual traditions and natural beauty.

After breakfast, drive north of Thimphu and begin a scenic hike through peaceful forests of pine, oak, and rhododendron to Tango Monastery, one of Bhutan's most important centres of Buddhist learning and meditation.

Founded in the 12th century and associated with many of Bhutan's great spiritual masters, the monastery remains an active monastic institution and offers visitors a tranquil atmosphere surrounded by spectacular mountain scenery.

Enjoy time to explore the monastery, admire its traditional architecture, and learn about its religious significance before returning to Thimphu.

The remainder of the day is free to relax, explore independently, or simply enjoy the unique ambience of Bhutan's capital.

After breakfast, depart Thimphu and travel eastward through some of Bhutan's most spectacular mountain scenery.

The first major highlight is Dochula Pass (3,080 m), one of the country's most celebrated viewpoints. On clear days, the pass offers magnificent panoramic views of the snow-capped Himalayas. The site is also famous for its 108 memorial chortens, creating a peaceful and spiritual atmosphere.

Continue through forests of oak, rhododendron, and bamboo before descending into the stunning Phobjikha Valley, one of Bhutan's most beautiful glacial valleys.

Upon arrival in Gangtey, check into your hotel and enjoy an evening stroll through the traditional village, surrounded by rolling meadows and forested hills.

Upon arrival, visit the magnificent Punakha Dzong, strategically located at the confluence of the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers. Widely regarded as Bhutan's most beautiful fortress-monastery, the dzong plays an important role in the nation's religious and political history.

Later, enjoy a scenic walk through rice fields and traditional villages to Chimi Lhakhang, also known as the Temple of Fertility. Dedicated to the legendary saint Drukpa Kunley, the temple remains a popular pilgrimage site for couples seeking blessings.

Begin the day with a beautiful countryside hike to Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten, a stunning temple perched above the valley and offering panoramic views of terraced fields, rivers, and distant mountains.

In the afternoon, visit Sangchhen Dorji Lhuendrup Lhakhang, a beautiful hilltop nunnery overlooking the Punakha and Wangdue valleys. The temple houses an impressive bronze statue of Avalokiteshvara and serves as an important centre for Buddhist learning and meditation.

After breakfast, drive towards Paro via Wangdue Phodrang.

Upon arrival in Paro, check into your hotel before exploring two of the valley's most important cultural landmarks.

Visit Ta Dzong, Bhutan's National Museum, which houses an impressive collection of religious artifacts, traditional costumes, historical treasures, and works of art.

After breakfast, begin the unforgettable hike to Taktsang Monastery, famously known as the Tiger's Nest.

Perched dramatically on a cliff face approximately 900 metres above the valley floor, this sacred monastery is Bhutan's most revered pilgrimage site. According to legend, Guru Padmasambhava arrived here on the back of a tigress and meditated in a cave, introducing Buddhism to Bhutan.

The scenic trail passes through pine forests, prayer flags, and spectacular viewpoints before reaching the monastery.

Later, visit the historic Drukgyel Dzong, built to commemorate Bhutan's victory over Tibetan invaders. On clear days, enjoy magnificent views of Mount Jomolhari (7,314 m) rising above the valley.
