| DAY 01 ARRIVE GUWAHATI – SHILLONG |
Arrive Guwahati & then drive to Shillong. Enroute visit Umiam Lake.
On arrival check into hotel. If time permits, evening visit Police Bazaar Shillong’s prime location where the wares on sale range from electronics to traditional handicraft, modern clothing to handloom items, vegetables and traditional spices etc.
Check-in at your hotel for 2 nights.

| DAY 02 SHILLONG – DAY TRIP TO CHERRAPUNJEE |
Morning full day excursion to Cherrapunjee, approximately 56 kms / 2 hours drive each way
On the way visit Elephant Falls and Shillong Peak – for a panaromic view of the hill station. Then drive to Cherrapunjee. Whole day sightseeing in and around Cherrapunjee includes water falls, lime stone cave, Thangkharang park, Bangladesh view point.
Return to hotel after the above visits.

| DAY 03 SHILLONG – DAY TRIP TO MAWLLYNONG |
Morning full day excursion to Mawllynong, approximately 90 kms / 3 hours drive each way
After breakfast we will drive to Mawllynong. On arrival, we will visit the living root bridge is a 53 ft long bridge. Locally known as ‘Jingkieng Deingjri’ which means ‘bridge of the rubber tree,’ this bridge is remarkable in that it is more than a 100 years old. Then drive to Dawki (India – Bangladesh Border).
Return to hotel after the above visits.

| DAY 04 SHILLONG – KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK |
Morning breakfast at hotel
After breakfast drive to Kaziranga National Park, approximately 280 kms / 7 hours drive, a paradise for greater Indian one horned Rhinoceros as well as a home to Elephants, tigers, water buffaloes and many species of birds.
On arrival, we will check into Hotel for 02 nights.

| DAY 05 KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK |
We will have an early morning exploration of the park by an elephant ride. Apart from the rhino, other animals that you may encounter in the safari are hog deer, swamp deer, wild water buffalos, elephants – and if you are lucky, even tiger. Kaziranga is also home to pelicans, storks and darters – as there are numerous water bodies to be encountered inside the Park. With a variety of migratory and resident birds darting from tree to tree, the safari in Kaziranga will offer you an opportunity to observe these avian varieties – along with their mammalian counterparts – very closely. We will return to the resort for breakfast. Mid-morning, we will visit a nearby village inhibited by Mishing tribe to witness their lifestyle and culture.
Will have our lunch at the resort –Post lunch, we will again venture into the park for a Jeep safari.

| DAY 07 KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK – MAJULI |
After breakfast drive to Neematighat, approximately 110 kms / 2 hours 30 minutes drive, and then ferry to Majuli.
On arrival check into Bamboo Huts/ Cottage. Late afternoon visit Mishing tribal village.
MAJULI – perhaps the largest river island is a treasure of cultural heritage of the region. The founder of ‘Eka Naam Dharma’ Srimanta Shankardeva took shelter in Majuli in the Fifteenth Century and ever since that Majuli has emerged as the crowning glory of Vaishnavaite culture in Assam. Majuli has a unique treasure of natural and cultural attractions. A melting point of various tribes, Majuli is multifaceted in its attractions that unfurls to its vanity are the rare migratory birds like Adjutant Stork, Pelican, Siberian Crane, etc., traditional handicrafts and pottery, the Mask – craft, ethnic culture and colorful festivals.
At Majuli visit Kamalabari Satra, Garmur Satra and Auni Ati Satra. Afternoon enjoy the traditional Satriya dance (Gayan Bayan).

| DAY 08 MAJULI – JORHAT – NAMERI NATIONAL PARK |
After breakfast board a ferry to Nimatighat & then drive to Nameri National Park, near the Assam.
Arunachal Pradesh border. Evening, walk on the banks of river Bhorelli that flows near to your camp (If time permits).

Morning transfer by road to Dirang, approximately 180 kms /7 hours drive
On arrival in Dirang, check in at hotel
Evening visit Dirang town and local market

| DAY 10 DIRANG – TAWANG |
After breakfast we drive to Tawang at 10200 ft. (145 kms, 5 hours).
On the way we will be crossing the Sela Pass at 14000 ft, the highest motorable pass in the Northeast.
Check into a hotel.

Today we will visit the famous 400 years old Tawang Monastery. Intermingled with the lamas (monks). Come back to the lodge for lunch. Afternoon visit a MONPA village. Evening visit market.

| DAY 12 TAWANG – BOMDILA |
After breakfast we drive to Bomdila, approximately 180 kms/7 hours drive
Transfer to Bomdila today at an altitude of 8000 ft. Check into hotel Tsepal Yangjom or similar on arrival. Afternoon sightseeing of Bomdila town includes visit to Gompas (momastery) and market.

After breakfast drive to Tezpur.
On arrival check into hotel.
If time permits, go for sightseeing at Tezpur.

After breakfast transfer to Guwahati Airport to board flight for Delhi
On arrival in Delhi, further connect with international flight for onward destination.
