02 Nights / 03 days Leopard safari Adventure in Jawai

Day 01: Delhi – Jodhpur (Flight OR Train ) & drive to Jawai

Morning transfer on own to Delhi airport / railway station to connect flight/Train  for Jodhpur. Upon arrival drive to Jawai covering a distance of 150 kms in approx. 3 hours.

Hidden in the belly of Rajasthan, Bera is a small town in Pali district with a considerable number of leopards but very few tourists. Bera was hardly known amongst the wild lifers.

To photograph leopards in Bera is in the to do list of every wild lover. It has a classic landscape with Aravalli hills dotting scrub-land vegetation such as cactus and keekar. Hillocks with caves present here provide a perfect habitat for leopards. Close to this village, lie the River Jawai and the Jawai Dam.

The result of these two structures is a lake-like water body. A scenic place amidst the hills is home to some of the biggest crocodiles apart from a number of resident and migratory birds.

Arrive in Jaiwai and check-in at Gurha safari camp hotel for 2 nights.

Balance day explore the camp facilities.

Overnight at Hotel.

Day 02: In Jawai

Morning & afternoon experience a leopard safari by a Jeep/Gypsy.

Optional activities on additional payment –

One could also indulge in activities like Village tour or a Nature Walk excursion.

1. During the stay, on could go on a rural excursion interacting with the lively Rabari herdsmen who have shared this land with wildlife for many centuries and continue with the same even today to link the wildlife and local culture.

2 .One could cycle around the pastoral fields where wild grasslands and Jawai Bandh’s waters meet and merge. One could spot cranes, flamingos and other wild animals as well.

3.Visit to Jawai Bandh / Jawai Dam Safari for Birding & Crocodile watching by exclusive Jeep. The large reservoir is home to many species of migratory and residential birds and provides incredible sightings of species like the Sarus Crane, Indian Courser, Pelicans, Bar – Headed Geese etc.

Overnight at Safari Lodge.

Day 03: Jawai – Jodhpur drive & fly or Train to Delhi

Morning free.

Afternoon drive to Jodhpur airport / railway station  to connect flight / Train for Delhi.

• Expenses of personal nature like personal gratuities, telephone charges, laundry, spa activities, drinks, etc.
• Beverages during meals.
• Tipping to the guide, restaurants, driver and handyman.
• Any airfare, visa fee, airport tax and any kind of insurance.
• Any Camera / Video Fees at the monuments.

Jawai River
