Day 01 | Arvl Leh | Arrive Leh airport. Our representative will transfer the guests to their hotel in Leh. Rest of the day free for acclimatization. In the evening you may walk down to the local market in case you are well acclimatized. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Leh. |
Day 02 | Leh | Today our day starts early in the morning. We shall drive to Thiksey monastery to witness morning prayer session of the resident monks. Thiksey monastery also houses the most beautiful and impressive Maitriya Buddha Statue. After our breakfast at the monastery cafรฉ, the guests will proceed to visit one of the most famous and wealthiest monastery of the region โ Hemis. Post monastery visit, continue drive to Stok Village for lunch with a local family. Enjoy the local cuisine which is very hard to find these days in Leh. After enjoying your time with the family visit their 300-year-old house which is now converted to a private museum. Also visit Stok Palace, where the current king lives. Drive back to Leh in the evening (12 Kms) for dinner and overnight stay. |
Day 03 | Leh โ Likir (02 hrs drive) – Yangthang (02 hrs. Trekking) | Drive from Leh to Likir (3500m) and trek to Yangthang (3680m) across Phobe La (3585m). Post breakfast, we will drive to Likir, which is 65 kilometres about 90 Mins drive from Leh. It is the starting point of our trek to Yangthang. On the trail, we will cross two passes: Phobe La (3580 meters) and Chagatse La (3630 meters). The village of Yangthang is across the Chagatse pass. We shall camp at Yangthang for the night next to a stream. |
Day 04 | Yangthang – Hemis Shukpachan

Trek from Yangthang to Hemis Shukpachan (3700m) across Tsermangchan La (3750m) Our trek for today will be easy, despite the fact that it involves climbing to the top of a pass. Both ascent and descent will be on gentle slopes. We will trek to north, dipping down a bit and then crossing a stream ascending west to Tsermangchan La (3750 meters). We will then, climb down to Hemis Shukpachan after crossing the pass. There youโll see several streams bordered by shady willows and large barley fields. Reach Hemis Shukpachan to finish dayโs trek here. Dinner and overnight stay at Hemis Shukpachan. |
Day 05 | Hemis Shukpachan โ Temisgam (03 hrs trekking) โ Leh

After an easy walk for an hour you will start climbing Meptak La. After the pass you reach Ang village near the river. After crossing the river you can walk down to Temisgam village. Visit the Temisgam Palace, monastery and Nunnery before driving back to Leh for dinner and overnight stay at the hotel. |
Day 06 | Leh | Day free for individual activities or just to relax and unwind. You may explore Leh market area near the hotel for any last minute shopping. |
Day 07 | Departure | Transfer to Leh airport for flight to Delhi |
Food preparation during trekking:
Our cooks are careful to prepare your meals with your enjoyment in mind. Typically these plentiful meals will be primarily vegetarian in nature with some meat or protein in the form of canned fish or tofu. This is typical of the Ladakhi diet in general. Our cooks are encouraged to use hand sanitizers such as alcohol-based gels prior to food preparation. You are encouraged to do the same. Serving utensils are typically stainless-steel bowls and pans and are cleaned after meals with scrub pads and soap.
Our staff will provide rehydrating liquids in large quantities throughout your trek. Take advantage of tea, coffee, juice boxes and water whenever you can. At this altitude it is typical not to feel much hunger or thirst. Make sure you stay adequately fed and drink plenty of fluids, both at meals and along the trail. During the summer, heat can be a real factor requiring significant intake of liquids while you trek. Carry 02 liters of water with you.
Breakfast :
Porridge, Cornflakes, Muesli, Bread, Apricot Jam, Honey, Butter, Peanut Butter, Cheese, Pan-Cake, Omelet, Tea and Coffee.
Lunch :
(You will have Pack-Lunch while trekking)
Sandwiches, Boiled Eggs, Boiled Potatoes, Fruit Juice, Energy Bars/Chocolate Bars, Biscuits, and Peanut Candies.
Tea Time :
You will have Instant Noodles Tea & Coffee with Biscuits, Snacks, and Cookies when you end the days trek.
Dinner :
Soup, Rice, Curry (Veg. Mushroom, Paneer, & Dal) Noodles (Thukpa & Chowmien) Veg Momos, Tuna Momos, Spring Rolls, and for Deserts Custards, and Fruits
Please Note:ย All of the above items are served different on different days, and the items are subjected to the availability in the market.
Drinking Water :
Being a local and an Eco friendly organization we encourage you to kindly use boiled water instead of plastic bottled mineral water coz that will help us to keep the trekking routes/environment clean For the first day we will provide two liters of pressure boiled water, and from 1st evening of the trek our staff will supply boiled water, the source would be either glacier or Spring and the supply will continue till the end of the trek.
