2 Dhams of Uttrakhand

KEDARNATH –BADRINATH YATRA

Day 01:-  Delhi – Haridwar/Rishikesh
Morning Pick up airport / Railway station and drive to Haridwar /Rishikesh , evening Aarthi darshan in Hari Ki pauri, Night stay

Day 02:-  Haridwar/Rishikesh-  Deveparyag  – Guptkashi/ Sitapur
Morning after breakfast check out to hotel and  drive to Guptkashi and on the way visit Devparyag, Lunch enroute itself. Evening check in at hotel , overnight stat at hotel

Day 03:  Guptkashi/ Sitapur – Kedarnath / Guptkashi/

Early morning ( 5:00 AM) check-out from the hotel and drive to Gourikund. From here, we will start 17 Kms trek to Kedarnath. Either by walk, Doli or by horse at own cost. On arrival at Kedarnath, check-in into the Tent /Guest house, In the evening visit Shankaracharya Samadhi behind the temple and take a part in evening Aarti. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

OR

Day 03:  Guptkashi/ Sitapur – Kedarnath/ Guptkashi/
Morning check out to hotel and  drive to Fata Helipad near Gauri kund, and take a helicopter from Fata then go for kedarnathji darshan , Pooja  & stay in Kedarnath


Day 04:- Kedarnath/ Guptkashi/  – Joshimath 

Early morning check out to hotel and drive to Joshimath , Check in at hotel then go to Darshan, of narshing Temple


Day 05:- Joshimath – Badrinath 

After breakfast drive to Badrinath and pooja darshan and night stay at Badrinathji 
Badrinath 
one of the ‘Four Dhams’ is one of the most celebrated pilgrimage spots of the country and is situated at an elevation of 3,133 meters, guarded on either side by the two mountain ranges known as Nar & Narayan with the towering Neelkanth Peak providing a splendid backdrop. This revered spot was once carpeted with wild berries. Thus the place got the name “Badri van”, meaning “forest of berries”.

Tapt Kund : Natural thermal springs on the bank of the river Alaknanda, where it is customary to bathe before entering the Badrinath temple.
Narad Kund :
 A recess in the river, near Tapt Kund, forming a pool from where the Badrinath idol was recovered.
Brahama Kapal : 
A flat platform on the bank of river Alaknanda. Hindus perform proppitiating rites for their deceased ancestors.
Sheshnetra :
 1.5kms. away is a boulder having an impression of the legendary serpent, better known as the Sheshnag’s eye.
Charanpaduka 
3kms. away is a beautiful meadow where the footprint of Lord Vishnu is seen on a boulder.

Day 06:- Badrinathji – Garhwal Srinagar /  Rishikesh / Haridwar 
After breakfast checkout to hotel and drive to Garhwal Srinagar /Rishikesh, evening aarthi Darshan , night stay,

Day 07:-  Garhwal Srinagar /  Rishikesh / Haridwar 
After breakfast checkout to hotel and drive to Haridwar or Rishikesh visit  Ram jhoola, Laxman Joola, parmarth  in Rishikesh and night stay,

Day 08:-  Haridwar  – Delhi Drop
Morning check out to  hotel and drive to Airport / Railway station, Tour Concludes
