DAY 01                                              ARRIVE GOA

Arrive at Goa International airport.

 Goa is known as “Pearl of the Orient” and a “Tourist Paradise”, it is located on the western coast of India in the coastal belt known as Konkan. The magnificent scenic beauty and the architectural splendors of its temples, churches and old houses have made Goa a firm favorite with travellers around the world. But then, Goa is much more than just beaches and sea. It has a soul which goes deep into unique history, rich culture and some of the prettiest natural scenery that India has to offer. Much of the real Goa is in its interiors, both inside its buildings and in the hinterland away from the coastal area

Meet & greet on arrival at Goa airport by a our representative & transfer to your hotel, where you will stay for 4 nights.

DAY 02                                              GOA

Breakfast at the Hotel.

Proceed to visit The Old and New Capital Tour.

Morning drive to Dona Paula, an idyllic spot which overlooks Goa’s magnificent harbour of Mormugão, we proceed to Panjim via Miramar Beach. In the year 1843 the Portuguese Court in Lisbon issued a Royal Decree making Panjim the new capital of Goa which was a fishing village until then. The Panjim of today still exudes that old charm, with typical Portuguese architecture mirrored in the houses and villas spread along the River Mandovi. Notable among the classic structures are the

Panjim Church, Palácio Patriarcal (Bishop’s Palace) and Palácio Idalcão (the present Secretariat) which was built by Adil Shah in 1492. We also stop at the fruit and vegetable market for guests to experience the sights and smells of Goa. Our tour then proceeds to Old Goa, which was the old capital of Goa. Visit the Basílica of Bom Jesus where the incorruptible remains of St. Francis Xavier are kept in a silver casket entombed in a Florentine style marble mausoleum.

DAY 03                                              GOA

Breakfast at the Hotel.

Later proceed to explore Markets of Goa

Visit the vibrant varied markets of Goa that take place on different days of the week. The Anjuna Flea market is a remnant of the Hippie days and still lives on in the beachside village of Anjuna. Find handicrafts from all over India get a tattoo or just hang out and enjoy the atmosphere of the colorful market. Watch the sunset over the coast line which is unlike most Goan beaches and is very rocky which makes it very pretty.

DAY 04                                              GOA

Breakfast at the Hotel.

Full Day at leisure to relax at beach / enjoy hotel facilities.

You may choose from following optional activities.

  • Water sport activities at the beach.
  • Excursion to Old Goa – visit Basilica of Bom Jesus,  Se Cathedral  and Church of St. Cajetan Churches (UNESCO World Heritage site)
  • Excursion to Spice Plantation
  • Hi-tea with a local Portuguese family at their mansion.

DAY 05                                              DEPART GOA

Breakfast at the Hotel.

Morning will be at leisure (Please note check out time at the hotel is 12noon).

In the afternoon our representative  will escort you to Goa Airport for your flight onward destination.
